Shelter is a charity that campaigns to end homelessness and unsuitable housing in England and Scotland.

Situation

With 55 offices throughout the UK, dealing with utilities was a significant and time-consuming operation for staff at Shelter, so they appointed us to take over management of their billing.

Solution

We put the contracts out to tender, comparing quotes from the whole market.

As a result, we managed to secure a particularly good deal in relation to the renewal offer from their incumbent supplier.

Result

Not only did we take the time-consuming and often frustrating task of managing utility bills off Shelter’s hands, our procurement service also resulted in a 31% saving on their electricity costs.
