As an ambitious and growing, professional services firm, Henderson Loggie wanted to better understand the impact their day-to-day business activities had on the environment.
They engaged with several potential environmental consultants and after a competitive tender process, chose Boxfish to undertake a comprehensive carbon baseline assessment and assist with the preparation of the firm’s Net Zero Strategy roadmap.
Boxfish started by creating an in-depth Carbon Baseline Assessment report, covering Henderson Loggie’s direct Scope 1 and 2 emissions as well as select Scope 3 emissions (purchased goods and services, transmission and distribution losses and business travel) and from there calculated a baseline intensity metric so that the firm could understand their current impact.
Using this starting point, Boxfish were then able to advise on actionable recommendations that have helped Henderson Loggie reduce their emissions and are now in the process of developing a formal Net Zero Strategy roadmap.
