Overview

Due to an influx of new and exciting client wins, we are expanding our Sales & Business Development team at Boxfish— The leading ethical independent UK wide utility consultancy.

We’re looking for an industry experienced Sales & Business Development Manager with a proven track record to join us in delivering a Utility Management Service that’s fully transparent and client focused at all times.

Ideally, you would be based in the central belt of Scotland and be willing to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Additionally, from April 1 2023 Boxfish will work to a 4 day week, meaning you will enjoy 79 paid days leave a year – and a guaranteed long weekend every weekend.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

As a Sales/ Business Development Manager – Utility Management, your role will involve, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Further develop the Utility Management portfolio of clients, through obtaining new business
  • Deliver presentations to prospective clients.
  • Write and present tender responses.
  • Compile proposals for potential clients.
  • Develop a pipeline of leads, through a variety of methods, including but not limited to:
    • Networking events
    • Industry specific events
    • Cold calling
  • Develop Sales material to be used across the organisation
  • Write and publish LinkedIn posts to drive sales interest
  • Work towards KPI’s and sales targets which are developed alongside the Operations Manager
  • Deliver best in class customer service to all clients
  • Clear, professional, and effective communication, by telephone, email and face to face meetings
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as per the agreed workplan
  • Identify the customer needs and coordinate actions by bringing in other SME’s within the business
  • Focus on Sales within the Utility Management spaces, however have high level knowledge of all services Boxfish offer to identify opportunities.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

The key attributes of this employee would be:

• Prior knowledge of Utility Management and the Energy Industry

• More than 3 years in a similar role at the same company

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly word & excel.

• Experience using Salesforce is desirable.

• Personable and Self motivated

• Full UK Clean Driving Licence
