Overview

Boxfish are looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Account Manager to join our young, vibrant and high-performing team that delivers first-class service, industry-leading results.

THE ROLE

Following extensive training, you will be managing a diverse portfolio of clients, answering calls, responding to enquiries and assisting with client billing / supply queries alongside the expert support of our Accounts Managers. Your training will continue throughout your employment, with the culmination being the transition to full Account Manager, responsible for the management and support of your own portfolio of clients, and tasked with providing your clients with the full breadth of services we provide as a business.

As a successful applicant, you will have:

  • Excellent numeracy skills, for working with bills and complex numerical queries (essential)
  • A high level of literacy, for corresponding with clients (essential)
  • Experience working in a similar role, e.g. for an energy or water supplier (desirable)
  • Experience working with databases (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (essential)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (desirable)
  • Willing to learn new skills to get you to a fully trained Account Manager

Boxfish actively encourage a flexible hybrid working model, meaning you’ll be working from home 90% of the time – no more commuting to work!

Additionally, from April 2023 we will move to a 4 day week, meaning you will enjoy 79 paid days leave a year – and a guaranteed long weekend every weekend.

We offer a very competitive salary which is dependent on experience, 30.5 days holiday (until April 2023), and plenty of opportunities for training and development—and that’s just for starters.
