We're hiring

Due to an influx of new and exciting client wins, we are expanding our Technical Delivery team at Boxfish — a leading independent utility consultancy, based in the West End of Glasgow.

We’re looking for a talented Energy Engineering Consultant to join us in our newly refurbished offices, which are just a 2-minute walk from Exhibition Centre Train Station and a stone’s throw from the trendy Finnieston thoroughfare.

At Boxfish, you’ll be part of a high-performing team that delivers first-class service and industry-leading results.

  • Delivery of a range of technical projects
  • Previous experience of energy / carbon / environmental legislation such as ESOS and SECR
  • Experience of assessing the condition and efficiency of building services, industrial processes and other relevant energy consuming activities
  • An understanding of low-carbon and renewable technologies
  • A track record of working in a fast-paced consultancy environment
  • The ability to identify and develop new project opportunities, from both existing clients and new prospects
  • Managing client expectations, delivering results and building long-term relationships

If you have an analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and previous experience working for a client focused, professional services consultancy – we want to hear from you.

We’re an ambitious company, and we expect a lot – but we also give a lot in return. You’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary, training to expand your skill set, and opportunities to advance.

Sound like your kind of job? Let’s dive in!

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a technical background, preferably engineering or scientific in nature, and is a member of a relevant professional institute
  • Has relevant experience of delivering energy efficiency related projects for a range of industries/sectors; water efficiency experience would be a bonus
  • Ideally, an ESOS lead assessor or someone working towards the qualification (this needs to be in place by 2022)
  • Is a problem-solver who’s good with figures and likes the detail
  • Is capable of building and delivering a sustainable pipeline of work
  • Is a team player with plenty of positive energy
  • Always delivers a first-class service to stakeholders and clients
  • Can support the preparation of tender and proposals

Now the detail…
