Banks O’Dee initially contacted Boxfish for support with utilities procurement. During discussions, it became clear that the organisation also had an existing electricity export agreement that was no longer delivering value for money, particularly during the winter months when the tariff structure made the arrangement less favourable. With solar PV already installed, Banks O’Dee wanted to ensure they were receiving the best possible return for the electricity exported to the grid.
Boxfish reviewed the existing export arrangement and identified a more suitable Smart Export Guarantee tariff. The team supported the full setup process, confirming eligibility, preparing the application and coordinating the required documentation. The Smart Export Guarantee agreement was set up quickly, with Boxfish liaising with the export provider to confirm meter details and ensure the export configuration was correctly registered so payments could begin.
Banks O’Dee now have a Smart Export Guarantee agreement in place that maximises the payments for the electricity generated by their solar installation and exported to the grid. With the setup completed and verified, the revenue collection process is now straightforward, with Boxfish continuing to assist and advise with ongoing queries relating to export data.
